Stock Market: Sensex declines 134 points, Nifty slips 29 points to trade at 17,483

The Sensex and the Nifty today witnessed modest losses in the afternoon trade. Both indices fell amid negative cues from global share markets. The Sensex was trading below the 59,000 mark while the Nifty was trading below the 17,500 level.

The Sensex declined 134 points, or 0.23 percent, to trade at 58,973. The Nifty also slipped 29 points, or 0.17 percent, to trade at 17,483.
