Malaysia beat Chile 3-2 in the FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela on Monday. The win was sweet for Malaysia as they last won a World Cup game in 2002 while beating Cuba 4-2 in the group stages.

The match between New Zealand and the Netherlands is underway. When reports last came in, the Netherlands was leading 2-0 in the first half.

Later in the evening, France will meet South Africa and Argentina will take on Australia at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
