Nirmala Sitharaman to visit Assam tomorrow to take part in various events

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Assam tomorrow to take part in various events.

Ms. Sitharaman will perform bhumi pujan of 120 Megawatt Lower Kopili hydro electric project at Dima Hasao district and lay the foundation stone of  a road at Haflong . The Union minister will also inspect the Guwahati and North Guwahati bridge project.

Later in the day, she will launch a web portal under Assam Right to Public Service Act, 2012  at a function in Guwahati. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will accompany her during the events.
