EAM S Jaishankar encourages Israeli businesses to focus more deeply on opportunities in India
The External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, has said that he had a productive meeting with Israeli chambers of commerce and the innovation ecosystem. In a series of tweets, Dr. Jaishankar appreciated Israeli’s visible enthusiasm for having more partnerships with India.

Many post-Covid priorities including digital, health, agriculture and green growth are natural areas for collaboration between the two countries, he added. He encouraged Israeli businesses to focus more deeply on Indian opportunities and take advantage of India’s business friendly policies.
During his visit to Israel, Mr. Jaishankar has also met the Indian Jewish community in Israel. He valued their manifold contribution to India-Israel ties. He expressed confidence that the Indian Jewish Community will bring both India and Israel even closer together in the coming years.
The Minister also visited the Indian Cemetery at Talpiot as his first engagement in Jerusalem. He paid homage to the brave Indian soldiers who made supreme sacrifice during World War I.
