PM Modi to inaugurate 82nd edition of ‘All India Presiding Officers’ Conference in Shimla on 17th Nov

All India Presiding Officers’ Conference (AIPOC), the apex body of the Legislatures in India, is celebrating its hundred years this year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of 82nd edition of  ‘All India Presiding Officers’ Conference tomorrow via video conferencing. The first Conference was also held in Shimla in 1921 and the AIPOC is being held in Shimla for the seventh time. The Lok Sabha Speaker, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, and Deputy Chairman Rajya Sabha will be present on the occasion.
