Legacy data to be digitised
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has accorded sanction to the constitution of the five member committee for digitization, scanning and uploading of legacy Data on National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) in liaison with the office of Registrar General Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
The committee shall proceed with the digitization and scanning of legacy data of the preceding 20 years in the first instance as is essential under BRAP/EoDB.
The officers in the panel included Inspector General of Registration, J&K, Additional Secretary to the Government Revenue Department, Additional Secretary to the Government Information Technology Department, Additional Secretary to the Government Department of Law and Justice &PA and State Information Officer, NIC,J&K.
