DCs asked to collect details of land owners
For operationalization of the Real-Time Land Information System (RTLIS), the administration has directed Deputy Commissioners in Jammu and Kashmir to collect details of land owners and submit the same to the Administrative Department before 10th January 2022.
The development comes two months after Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani Land Records Information System was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Jammu.
The Deputy Commissioners as per the reports have been directed to collect the Aadhar (with consent) and mobile numbers of land owners, so that the changes in land records, entries made, updation done is made known to the landholders on a Real-Time Basis, as per the proforma.
The proforma include the Khewat number, Khata number, Khasra number, name of the land owner, parentage, mobile number and Aadhar number. An order in this regard has been issued by Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Commissioner, Secretary to the government, Revenue Department.
“The Deputy Commissioners shall collect the information Patwar Halqa wise in a mission mode through a special campaign Patwar Halqa Awareness Cum Collection Campaign (PHACCC). Wherein, besides sensitizing the citizens about the benefits of the initiative shall also collect the Mobile Numbers and Aadhar of landholders (with consent)”, the order reads.
The PHACCC shall be immediately launched by the Deputy Commissioners in collaboration with Line Departments and PRIS with maximum use of IEC Tools, Print and Electronic Media, Social Media and at Block Diwas, it added.
“Divisional Commissioners to monitor the progress made by the Districts on weekly basis and apprise the same to the Administrative Department. The Deputy Commissioners shall furnish the consolidated information of their districts to the Administrative Department through e-office and at [email protected] in hard as well as in excel form by or before 10.01.2022”, the order reads.
