Neeil J Shetty tops ICSE examinations

Neeil J Shetty had appeared for the ICSE class 10, 2022 board examinations. He scored 496/500 marks with a percentage of 99.2%.  His all-India rank is 4th and Karnataka State rank is 3rd.

He is the proud son of Jeevithesha Shetty and Dr. Meghna J Shetty of Mulki.

Going forward, he wishes to pursue his career in research in physics and mathematics.

He had been selected for the advanced learning programme under IISc. He is also mentored by an oral maxillofacial radiologist from Mumbai under whom he is working with the research team. He also participated in a research paper presentation competition held at Infosys and won the second place. He also took in various math Olympiads throughout his school years, like Silver Zone (4th International rank), SOF IMO (1st International Rank), Ramanujan National Math Olympiad (1st National Rank). He won many competitions in Karate, Swimming and Chess. He has a Brown Belt in Karate. He also enjoys Carnatic music and has taken training in it. Being a Sanskrit student, he enjoys reciting versus and shlokas.
