Kashmiri Law student killed in Chandigarh laid to rest

Kupwara,  KNT: Thousands of people attended the funeral of 23-year-old law student Suhail Aijaz Langoo at Kralgund in Kupwara district on Wednesday, two days after he died in a road accident in Chandigarh.

Langoo, a resident of Kralgund, was pursuing a law degree in Chandigarh. His body was brought back to his native village on Wednesday morning, where the last rites were performed in the presence of a large gathering from Kralgund and the wider Qaziabad area.

Langoo was the only son of his parents, according to local sources. His death in Chandigarh had been reported on Tuesday, with Handwara MLA Sajad Lone also expressing condolences to the bereaved family.

The funeral was attended by local residents, traders, religious representatives and members of various community and business groups. [KNT]
