PM Modi Stresses Jan Bhagidari For Sustainable Water Security

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that water security is a shared responsibility that calls for stronger systems, scientific solutions and Jan Bhagidari. Mr Modi today shared an article written by Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R Patil.

Mr Modi noted that C.R Patil has written on India’s efforts to build climate-resilient water management through the Jal Jeevan Mission, Namami Gange, water conservation and technology-driven solutions. The Prime Minister said that the article provides an insightful perspective on how people’s participation, alongside sustained efforts across States and communities, can help secure water for future generations in a sustainable way.
